My Story
Dr. Shin graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelor's in biology, before that he studied electronic engineering from Kyunghee University in Korea. He pursued his dream of becoming a dentist and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Shin moved to Maryland in 2017 and he has worked with different populations in Maryland as a state dental director in Porter Dental. He spends a significant amount of time to provide dental care to the communities for all ages.
Furthermore, He is fully committed to providing excellent dentistry through actively learning and attending continuing education courses.
Dr. Shin gives great importance in educating his patients through visual communication.
Having a patient focused approach to treatment and warm friendly nature, means even the most anxious of patients feel relaxed.He is eager to teach his patients about oral care and how to maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. His caring personality makes his patients comfortable with having dental procedures done at Ace Dental Clinic.

Dr. Shin married his childhood sweetheart, Youngshin. They live in Ellicott City with two sons, Mason and Aiden. When he is not providing patient care, he spends time with his family, enjoying traveling and experiencing other cultures.
